Chelsea is an intimacy choreographer, co-founder of Theatrical Intimacy Education, Assistant Professor of Movement at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and President of the Association of Theatre Movement Educators. She earned her MFA from Arizona State University, where she focused her research on staging intimacy, nudity and sexual violence. Chelsea specializes in devised work, physical theatre, clown, stage combat, mask, as well as traditional theatre movement methods. 

Her book, Staging Sex, is forthcoming from Routledge Publishing in December 2019.
